Paisley Art Pottery swan - same shape as 170 swan
This swan made by Paisley Art Pottery, Australia (c1950) is the same shape and dimensions as Crown Lynn’s 170 swan, with the notable difference on the Paisley swan being the base - no foot ring.
The Paisley swans usually have “117” etched somewhere on the base by hand, and all of the examples I’ve seen are in the distinctive cream glaze which is flat (not glossy) and accented with the gold fleck or speckle.
The weight of the Paisley swan is roughly the same, but perhaps a little lighter than Crown Lynn’s 170 swan.
