Re: Three pieces of Wally Silva from the collection of Marcus
Marcus, I have only seen photos of Wally's work - never a real piece.
Are there any discerning marks/stamps that say that it's his work?
I don't think I've seen any Silva marks .....
The shapes are very Rancich like with the very rounded bellies
Thanks Ev.

Re: Three pieces of Wally Silva from the collection of Marcus
Hi Ev,
The pots that I have are only marked with an impressed number, which I assume was the pot shape. I've never
seen one with his signature stamp on the base, but apparently they are around.
I have a couple of unpainted blanks which have the base numbers, I'll take some photo's and send them in.
The other thing is that the four pots that I have are all decorated by the same artist, I'm not certain but
I think her name was Ivy or Irene? Williams, always initialled I.W.
