and a verbal description:
shallow-domed glazed base with wide footring.
often evidence of chipping and/or grinding where glaze has run on to kiln shelf and stuck. such chipping need not be considered damage.
only rarely will there be a backstamp.
I have seen these bowls now in clear glaze, brown, blue, and multi-coloured. Any others?

Yes these are heavy as they are some of the first crockery that Ambrico made, to American Army specs I might add.
