Broadcast House, Shortland Street
Auckland architects Wade and Bartley had the contract to design this bulding:

Amalgamated Brick and Pipe had the contract to supply the bricks so were given a series of drawings detailing the types of bricks required:
A set of ten of these architects drawings survived the post-closure clearout at Ceramco when a lot of records were burnt in a bonfire that seemed to go for days.
The building is now the home of the Gus Fisher Gallery run by the University of Auckland which has possession of the drawings:

Re: Broadcast House, Shortland Street
The Gus Fisher Gallery will host a modified version of Crockery of Distinction from 4 November 2011 to 7 Jan 2012.
I take pleasure from the coincidence of this building constructed out of Amalgamated Bricks products exhibiting a show which has as its core the Portage Ceramics Collection. Like a homecoming.
