Re: Wild Rose for the Gallery
You are welcome, I have heaps more if you are interested. Some from my own accumulation, others which I have lifted off TM if that is ok. Cheers, Marl

Thanks so much Marl, but only originals please as copyright is an issue even on the net
If you have the permission of the owner of the pic and display that ... it's ok.

Re: Wild Rose for the Gallery
I don't really know when this was made, but as it doesn't have a pat.no or deco number, I would say it must be fairly old ...... which doesn't really help much I guess. So I will take a punt and suggest that it is from around the late 1950's. You don't see this pattern often like some, in fact I don't think I've ever come across it myself.
Unsure of what I have here. Almost a complete set.
I scored this set for $95 at an antique store in West Auckland. I wouldn't mind trying to complete it. It has the Jumbo Tulip cups which I hardly ever see around. Wouldn't mind knowing the value on this if anyone can help. Also the double stamp fault is on most of them as well. I know faults can sometimes add value to pieces but still would have a clue what this is worth. I like to collect Crown Lynn that is rare but common stuff I normally flick.

That's a lovely set indeed isaacwulf and I'm even more impressed that you have worked out how to load photos
Sorry no idea as to value as the market is a fickle place and what is popular today isn't tomorrow. I'm mainly interested in the history involved and this set would have some I'm sure. Cameo Rose which is another similar pattern is in adverts from 1959, but I didn't see this pattern in the Museum records.
