Great thanks Thelma. Could you add measurements please as there seems to be about three round photo frames. Thank you.
Re: A little treasure picked up today D834 Photo Frame, plus 8050
I found that there are 5 photo frames in the records including the two above.
There are 3 Round Photo Frames -
4068 - dia 160 mm
4069 - dia 185 mm
4070 - dia 225 mm
I have one that I have to locate as it is under the house in a box with knickknacks that I put away to make room for more pottery

Thanks, the plate is buried deep in the container at the moment but at a guess it is the smaller one, 160mm, if my memory serves me right!

I think that my one would be the same size.
There are two more photo frames in the records 1395 and 1396.
I will check the Modellers drawings sometime as I think these are there as are the ones on the Portage site below and these have stands.

Daisy's photo
This was going cheap so I had to buy it its made me giggle
someone loved their prize winner so much she got her pic on a photo plate!
The photo had been glued down & covered with thick Lacquer which has started to lift.
It wasnt hard to get it all off & the glue too with a soak..it looks so much better & I've managed to raise the plates value abit me thinks too.

Re: A little treasure picked up today D834 Photo Frame, plus 8050
I found one of these photo plates today. To me they don't feel like crown lynn made. The Backstamp is rough to touch... kinda like it's been stuck on.
Makes me wonder if they were imported in and a backstamp added at this end lol
Probably not ...
Had a day out Thames and Paeroa mainly got some bits and pieces but nothing that says WOW!!
In a shop at Paeroa they had a stack of 18 of these for $65 or some price simalar.
