Re: Possible shape 192 lion and prey ... is not Crown Lynn
Woooo that looks so deadly and scary!
One shot it looks like a seal and the other it looks like a gorilla ... omg it's a lion!
I will alert Manos and Heather to see what they have to say.
The number looks a little different to the normal Crown Lynn numbers ....
and they usually have a hollow interior with a hole in the base ....hmmm

This is not Crown Lynn
Reasons why i believe it is not Crown Lynn:
The number is wrong
The way it has been made is wrong, the quality is not right.
just about everything is wrong for it to be Crown Lynn.
In my opinion it is defiantly not.
Thank you.

I'm with Manos - the number is weird, havent seen any other numbering like that. The notes I have say the prey is a deer... for the number to be as high as it is the form is crude, not at all like the other animals around that number.

Is there a join between the top lion/prey/grass section and the lower hillock section? And if so does that give any clue about the likley maker?

hi
The base and the model are in two parts.
The base section is made of a bisque type material and decorated more like what you would
see on pieces sent to Royal Oak as blanks.
The top section is well modelled.
