No Name brown circular splatter ... ~

Post  Ev on Thu 5 Apr - 14:33

Does anyone recognise this?  I feel that I've seen it somewhere ..... scratch
It just has Kelston Ceramics in gold on the base.

Yes, it looks the same, but, it also looks the same as the no name tree rings? http://www.newzealandpottery.net/t3175-kat-co-calls-this-pattern-tree-rings#9990
or maybe not?

Could tree rings and this circular splatter be the same pattern ..... just taken with different cameras?

Lets compare them ....

Left is tree rings, right is splatter and the splatter looks browner than the rings, so I will agree with you both that tree rings is Desert Sun.
I just love the way that they have given this a deep yellow cup, as I would never have guessed without seeing their photo!!!!

So, do you think they are 2 different patterns? Those notes will be great to work out which cups go with the patterns now too. Thanks Ev for taking the time to get all these photos cheers

I'm not sure if they are the same or not, so I will go along with the majority.
