Royce McGlashen & McGlashen Potteries marks
There seem to be some new marks from Royce McGlashen and McGlashen Pottery, sometimes in relief and other times the other way. Nice bright mugs from McGlashen Pottery,
and the mark
Lovely shell bowl from Royce
and the mark
nice bowl with impressed small scallops
and the mark
and my chicken brick (which I am hoping to make good use of this winter)
and the mark, which is similar to the mugs, but pressed rather than standing up
Ok, that's all for Royce now ....

Excellent!!
I adore Royce's work, both commercial and handmade ..and I'm told that his Chicken Bricks work fantastically!

Another work I found in the weekend by Royce, a little different this one
Not sure if that is 88 underneath or 2 stylised pots

Re: Royce McGlashen & McGlashen Potteries marks
I was just wondering about the spelling of 'McGlashen' as I keep coming across 'McGlashan' (suspect with the 'e' is correct) when I noticed the typo in the title of this thread....

Good spotting Cat, fixed now With the 'e' is correct. My daughter and I visited the studio yesterday, and marveled at the fabulous pieces Royce has there, and his paintings are quite fabulous also.
