In yer face red vases...
From Jim's collection, these vases and bowl are finished in a shiny spray paint, obviously professionally done. Is this cellulose? Were they painted by Salisbury? The finish has the same gloss as the Flambeau vases, but these are definitely sprayed.. I have no idea, but they are certainly eye-catching; you walk into the room and WHAMMO! they're the first thing you see.
Obviously CL shape
And here's the matching bowl, all from a charity shop in Whangarei.
Well spotted Jim..

Re: In yer face red vases...
I will add another shape that hon-john sent to the site and it took a lot of convincing for Heather to accept it was a Crown Lynn shape due to the unusual colour.
I think all of the Salisbury/Royal Oak/Crown Lynn vases that I have are spray painted.
I must add that there are some in your face bright colours too.
There is a Royal Oak sticker to show who finished this one.
