Hall Pottery?
Any ideas as to the history on hall pottery and or this makers mark?

I've never heard of them Paul.
Can't quite make out the area .... Lower something ?
Can only come up with Lower Hutt ????

According to Dunbars they had not heard of it either suggested it be small pottery or hobbyist. Nicely done pot though, the potters mark does bare a resemblance to Chris Fersterer cheers for the help.

To have a professional stamp made with the Pottery name suggests to me that they weren't hobby potters. So perhaps Dunbar's are right in saying that they may be a small studio pottery. There were thousands of these once upon a time
Yes I saw the similarity to Chris Fersterer too and also thought it was similar to one of the Leach marks .... would have to check it out though.
I will put the mark and stamp into the Marks Gallery and hopefully one day someone will fill us in on the details of these competent potters
