1020 Dorothy Thorp Jug
Yesterday I went to the Nelson Antique Fair, purely to browse you understand, but this one I had to have, no lid, but I don't care. The seller advised that without a lid, as many were, they were called lemonade jugs, and with a lid it was a coffee pot. Dealer fast talking? I don't care either way, I love it! Ever since I have been bouncing off the walls feeling very pleased with myself!!
The base has no markings whatsoever, just the number 1020, which for me confirms its origin.

What a great find! Well Done!!
I wonder which pattern it belongs to?
The ball handled lid is number 1022 and I noticed that there is a loop handled lid 1024 as well.

Re: 1020 Dorothy Thorp Jug
I assumed it would be Pine due to the colouring.
