It has that original 1960's layer of dust on the cork. The spice pots are so wonderful to collect in my opinion. All the qualities of a great pot in a small package plus a general date of manufacture e.g. when Van Der Putten was working for Castle. And if you don't like the wording on it just turn it around....same for the cork, just hide it somewhere else. Some of the bigger spice pots don't have words on them....even better!
