These jugs seem to be the 715 shape - they have an impressed Made in New Zealand as well as 20 on the larger and 10 on the smaller.

The civilian is about 165mm tall and the Army one 132mm.

I have two to post later which bear the 715 stamp..so we can do a good comparison.. then I have one made by Gibson and Paterson..identical but bigger.

Gibson & Paterson (NZ) was established in 1909 and bought by Ceramco in 1968. There were also separate companies in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne also owned by Ceramco. I think they were distributors rather than manufacturers and had products made for them. Crown Lynn may have supplied branded tableware or hotelware for them.

Am I imagining variations in the spouts here or is it all the angles? Heather's 715s seem to have a flat top edge including the spot whereas there is a noticeable droop to my spouts.

A closer look at the scan of the page that the 715 pic came from shows the drooping spouts on the large sizes but is less clear on the 715-S and the 715-0. The page is captioned "Crown Lynn - Shapes of Dinner - Tea - Kitchen and Utility Ware" and is from the 1962 catalogue.

We're none of us getting any younger. Besides Zana seems quite taken with my jugs and your smaller but equally well-formed ones.
