Peach Wall Pockets Sam_0513Hi - I live on Waiheke Island. I buy bit and pieces that I like from op shops. I bought these. I can't make out the maker's mark. I have a pair. Help with ID would be good. J.C has been scratched into the surface but if you look closely above the J.C, you can just make out something that looks like BiL Maro or B+L marco. I am unsure. Peach Wall Pockets Sam_0514

My personal thoughts here are that these could be Hobby Ceramic pieces with the initials of the decorator etched into the clay. I tried everything I could think of for that possible name and didn't get any joy. Perhaps someone else can find something?

Looks more like an S than a B to me - but that could just be the difference between looking at a photo and seeing it in real life.

Silmaro is a surname too.

And just googled, there is a SILMA pottery
