Crown Lynn Candlesticks - Handmade?
Does anyone know anything about CL candlesticks such as these?
I have searched high and low over the internet, including images, but can find no trace of anything similar.
They are the usual matt white finish, and marked "Crown Lynn New Zealand" underneath, the 'Crown Lynn' in italics font.
There is enough physical variation between the two to strongly indicate they are hand turned; however they do not say 'hand potted' or anything.
They measue approx 150mm high, and 72mm across the base (yes, one is noticibly smaller than the other).
I once saw a pair of similar-but-different CL candlesticks in a Trading Post in Sumner about 15 years ago, asking about $800/pair.
Any thoughts appreciated ....

Re: Crown Lynn Candlesticks - Handmade?
Hi and welcome to the site eldorado
Check out this post of candlesticks that are very similar, though have a fluting finish which make me think of Daniel Steenstra now after reading page 51 in Val Monk's book on Crown Lynn.
