Hey thats great I bought it today for $2...
My photo makes the spiral shape which begins at the top, look odd but actually it is well balanced.

Just looked in the Potters Marks Gallery and we don't have his mark, so will happily put it in with the others ! I think of Ian's work as Grunty and very manly

Oh thanks Ev that's really interesting! wow 40yrs I'm amazed it has survived so well as it was covered in greasy instant coffee when I bought it!..

Not 100%, but it could have been his Redvale years ...... when he worked along with Warren Tippett.
