Cavalier Gold d528 and Carina d486

Cavalier Gold d528 and Carina d486

Post  Maryr on Tue 3 Dec - 10:25

From my boxes.. both these plates are marked with Genuine Ironstone. I see they are similar to one of our unknowns.
This is a 1960s-70s shape dinner plate.

And this is an Apollo bread and butter. I have the same pattern on desert plates also Apollo.

Same mark on both:

Yes they may both be in the Museum patterns book I think. I'll check them out later.

Re the first photo ...... would you call the colour Oyster?
Oyster as in Egmont.
Carina Oyster d213 has an all over pattern on the Coupe Shallow ware.

There are three patterns in the Patterns Book that look like Cavalier, but none are on Apollo, so that will go into the No Names Gallery for now.

Hmm its sort of like Egmont, but probably more yellow...  It is on a coupe shallow ware plate.
