Elbirg pottery
I came across this mug the other day, marked Elbirg Pottery.
I believe they are in Trafalgar Square in Wanganui.

Re: Elbirg pottery
Yes Jonathon Gribble sold out of Trafalgar Sq. Wanganui and lived in the Quaker Settlement in Wanganui. His ELBIRG mark is his surname backwards but with only one b. I remember hand thrown work and then he moved into brightly coloured ceramics. Don't know if he is still working or not. A painter I know shared a studio with him for a while and gave me a few details.
Some work of his work I have and his other mark.
