More Kermiko

Post  Maryr on Tue 22 Oct - 17:43

Have been on a road trip and discovered the lovely charity shops up a back street in Te Puke.. THREE of them, yum yum yum. Here is a Kermiko coffee set (which I didn't buy - George was rolling his eyes a bit by this time!) Every one of these items had the little Kermiko stick-on label - mint.

And here's a Kermiko pate dish, which has a different pattern, and also comes complete with the label.
And this is the salt and pepper - from Salvation Army Whangarei. No markings on these but I would be surprised if they're not Kermiko. (from my limited knowledge!)

salt and pepper

Post  Jeremy Ashford on Tue 22 Oct - 18:41

Maryr, re salt and pepper: that's what I assumed too.
Did you notice that even though one is a P and one an S each has only one hole!

On the shelf above them (top shelf, middle stand) is a medium sized Adelaar (just maybe it  Orzel but I think Adelaar) storage canister for $5, very faint name markings.

The Te Puke coffee set looks great. And I bet that was obscenely cheap. Despite the pretty transfers I'd have had it.
That satin pottery has such a lovely feel. It would just be nice to think you could get a bargain in Te Puke.

JanPots,
that's why I was kidding about getting a bargain in Te Puke.
Last time I was there you needed to take out a mortgage to buy a cup!

VASE

Post  Jeremy Ashford on Mon 18 Nov - 19:44

Suddenly, out of nowhere I've been seeing a lot of these little Kermiko vases around:

I've seen a couple pass thru the Anglican shop, and I'm sure there were a few others too.
Hospice has one without transfers. Very unusual for Kermiko.

Kermiko Settler Collection

Post  Jeremy Ashford on Tue 26 Nov - 15:01

KERMIKO Settler Collection
(Not to be confused with Orzel SettlerS Collection)

88mm H x 80 OD at lip
This is a standard Kermiko mug with a flat bottom.
No sticker, but the name Kermiko included in the pattern.

Another purchase from "Garage Sale" in Hikurangi.
This shop has quite a bit of Kermiko with the flower transfer.
including a cute salt pig like the one just sold on tm:

(I think it's the same transfer but may have been the pink one.)

More Kermiko

This mug is interesting, in that I though it was made by Royal Oak, but now I have checked it again...

It has Kermiko on the bottom!  sunny
