Having had reason to look critically at all the Paris cups available to view on the forum, and in Val's books, I'm wondering about these two on trademe.
The saucers look good for it but I'm surprised by the cups.

Live listing:
http://www.trademe.co.nz/pottery-glass/porcelain-pottery/crown-lynn/cups-saucers/auction-693323222.htm
The cup has the right stamp but looks small for the saucer.

Dead listing:
http://www.trademe.co.nz/Pottery-glass/Porcelain-pottery/Crown-Lynn/Cups-saucers/auction-690111322.htm
The cup in this one has a 48-55 stamp but the saucer is earlier.

The cup in the first listing that you added has a handle that I haven't seen before!
It doesn't look like it has the ridges either that I've seen on Paris cups.
I believe that these Paris dinnerware pieces were made over quite a few years and so I guess that there will be variations.
Not many listings for cups and saucers match I've found, but they usually look good together.
Jeremy your box of cups for $5 was a real bargain, as you could easy pay that for the Parisware cup, usually more, and the two Narvik cups are hard to find, so would have made me extremely pleased !
One of my regular opshops has boxes of cups for $4, but it's all made in china garbage.

The question about the first one of course is: if it isn't Paris then what is it?
I think they are both new shapes, one way or another.

Pandora's Banana Box was totally tinny. I was just leaving the shop and the Narvik shouted at me through the hole in the top. But now I've got to find saucers!

I looked through half a dozen other boxes after seeing what was in that one but saw nothing.

The blue Clay Craft mug you liked was in an auction box and I totally missed it. I bought it from Jill, who won the box, so I probably ended up paying for that box too.

I don't get out much, but usually it entails op-shops. Even so I still miss stuff that I should see. Jim told Kat that the 1644s, yes, two in different colours, were in the shop for a couple of weeks.

Those two are both great spotters. Mind you, Kat says she saw the 1647 in Lucow, which must have been before I bought it, but it didn't register. Thanks to what I learn on the forum I have new eyes every time I shop. I guess we all do.
