An unusual slate grey tulip from leish ....
Photos and words courtesy of leish.
I wasn't sure if this slate tulip was Crown Lynn or not, as it isn't stamped, but I think it is very interesting that it has the same dimensions as my stamped duck egg one.
Both the slate one and the duck egg one seem to match, and are both the shorter size compared to the stamped one.
Until I compared these two, I was skeptical, but now I feel quite certain that it is CL. I happened upon it in a cupboard full of Crown Lynn duos, with not an English item to be found. So that might be encouraging?
