yet another Orzel mug
Yet another Orzel mug.
This is in the glaze I have called "Green & Gold".
Habitat had 6 of these at $1 per. I don't like breaking sets but the production quality was so bad I just picked out the best. I've even gone as far as reversing this photo to put the handle on the right while showing it at its best.
There was quite a bit of variation in the blue-green glaze too so this one looks a bit bluer on the inside than the pieces I have posted elsewhere:

this is just 78mm high

Re: yet another Orzel mug
And another. I'm calling this one "Frangipani".
83hh H x 73 OD top. Flat bottom.
It looks as though Crown Lynn was not the only pottery to mix and match bodies and handles:
The Frangipani mug is not the same shape as the wavy-lines mug on the right.
It has the body of the sand-glaze mug on the left and the handle of the wavy-lines one.
Irregularities in shape in this montage result from camera lens distortion:
the mugs aren't that rough.
And a few duplicates in different glazes I picked up last week.
These shapes have already been posted in other topics.
I have yet to update my Eleven different Orzel mugs topic to add Frangipani and the tall mug.
It will then become THIRTEEN...
