Martin Beck Bottle Vase, Auckland
I am pretty sure this was made by Martin Beck. If someone can confirm/agree, we can put it in the gallery

Re: Martin Beck Bottle Vase, Auckland
Definitely Martin Beck. His pots often have simple incised decoration or sparse stamped decoration (like this one under the rather heavy glaze) to give them that modernist twist he was known for. He deserves to be better known, as do potters like Ian Firth and Simon Engelhard.
Martin Beck was trained by Patricia Perrin in the early 1950s so he is one of our first generation pioneers.
