Such a shame emmitt..... that earthquake must have affected every pottery collector in the area!
I would never have picked that pot to be a Brokenshire, as I only know his fine, delicate porcelain.

Marcus, can you help a lady out on Trademe from Christchurch that had a piece similar to yours ... she wants to know the value for an insurance claim.
She put a link on the TradeMe Collectors Forum to your piece which is most like the one that she had ... before the Quake ... my heart bleeds for the people affected by the big Quake and the continuing after shocks Sad As there but for the grace of Mother Nature ... go I !!

This could be a tough one Ev, but a piece like that should be worth in the region of $80-$120, at least.
These pieces are so delicate that they wouldn't stand a chance in an Earthquake of any magnitude!
Also to all the site members from the Canterbury region, just like to say from my own friends and family that our thoughts are with you.
Marcus.
