Dovedale Pottery

Post  Ev on Sun 8 Jun - 15:03

This pottery is rather unique as all of the wares have added clay decorations in relief.
The Potters Marks book shows that Sheryl Waters from Nelson is Dovedale Pottery.
This small hanging plate is full of a 3d landscape and is delightful ...

That is lovely Ev! I'm so glad you posted it, as I would have sworn we had some Dovedale pottery on the site, but we don't even have the mark! How remiss of me, when I have, and have had, several pieces  Embarassed

A utensil holder, similar to your plate

Same marking as yours

A much plainer wall pocket

This one with a sticker. I have a piece with Sher on it somewhere, will post when I uncover it.
