This is 250 mm handle to handle and 180 mm to the top of the knob. Different handles to the one in already without a lid.

Kermiko Casserole Dish ? Empty Is this Kermiko

Post  mike67 on Mon 1 Sep - 13:37

I posted this as Kermiko a while ago but I did notice that recently a link through to the Vikings facebook showed he had these identified as Parker. I have a few items with this transfer and body and they all have a glossier glaze than other Kermiko I have and all also have a fine black speckle in the glaze that Kermiko does not have. Is the Viking correct???
Also no green band under the brown.

I've removed the photo from the Kermiko Gallery Mike, as it did look ungainly amongst the others.
We need a code that shows uncertainty when photos are posted .... even a question mark in the title would be enough I guess. When there is confirmation it can be placed into the Gallery.

Thanks Ev. Does anyone have any idea if this is in fact Parker. Or could it be later/earlier Kermiko. I have a few pieces with that transfer and glaze.

Some of the Viking's shapes match shapes with known Parker glazes. John seems to know what he's talking about. Val has many Parker items complete with stickers. There are also Parker pieces on tm with the same transfer.

Ev, part of the fun of this process is getting it wrong. The good thing about a forum is usually someone will eventually turn up to correct it. The best thing is when you get to correct your own mistakes! We are all still learning.
