Spartan Dutch Couple Salt and Pepper..

I understand these shapes are quite common, but they are my first pieces of Spartan.

(Like Kat, I always have my eye out for Santas at Christmas but no luck yet.)

I pondered whether or not to spend $2.50 on these at Tikipunga market this morning because someone has stuck plastic bungs in them. They came from a box of P&S sets so I'll put that down to a previous collector; otherwise they look so right: age, quality of paintwork etc.
