Electoral Rolls follow Peter Joseph Beach and his wife Eva around the country until 1978 and then there is no sign of him. In 1963 Peter said his occupation was Pottery Worker.

Also there are entries in the Yellow Pages from 1974 until 1978 for Beach Artware Ltd. I believe that the business started in 1973, so it only went for around 5 years.

Incidentally Peter and Eva Beach were living at 16 Woodruffe Ave, Henderson in 1978.

Kilncraft Potteries Ltd shows up in the Yellow Pages in 1979 at 14 Woodruffe Ave Henderson and in 1981 at 22 Honan Place Avondale.
So this Pottery was only going for a few short years.

Claycraft Potteries Ltd first shows up in 1984 at 22 Honan Place Avondale.

Yes they make quite a jigsaw puzzle and Traditional is in the puzzle somewhere too.

Kilncraft must have had quite an output in the short time considering how many items are available these days in second hand shops.

Two to three years production is a lot of pottery.

My observation would probably put Clay Craft out ahead for volume (augmented by others using CC moulds), then unmarked and marked Beach, THEN Kiln Craft, and finally Traditional, but even so it does appear that it took Kiln Craft England a while to catch on. No internet!

Petr Jurnicek was a hand potter at Beach and worked with Daniel Steenstra.

Thanks haselnuss. We have three more names to add to the Beach potters.
Peter Lowry who is related to Eva Beach and Reg Mathews who now works for Bob Steiner, also Peter and Eva's daughter Sharon worked there too.
