MK or CMK makers mark - is this a New Zealand potter?

Post  li00p00p on Thu 25 Sep - 14:35

Hi all.

I have inherited a couple of pretty little greeny/brown bottles (maybe oil and vinegar bottles?) with the mark MK or possibly CMK on the bottom. Can anyone tell me anything about the maker, or if indeed they are by a New Zealand potter?

Many thanks.

Hi there, we really need to see a photo of the pot and mark to identify the piece. If you have trouble posting pics you can email them to the site on newzealandpottery@gmail.com and I will load them for you. Thanks Ev.

li00p00p sent these photos to the site and I've checked the NZ Potters Marks book and can't find this one.  I would say that the mark is MK in a circular surround.
