Does this have a number on it?
I'd like to put it into the Titian Gallery with it's number if possible.

Your vase took my eye as it reminded me of a shorter version of the Crown Lynn 368 that I have...

I took a trip to the Auckland Museum and copied lots of information. I have sheets that give the numbers, where they originated from and when.

It is not a complete record but is pretty good!

With that number it sounds like a Titian under the Crown Lynn umbrella piece.....
so should go into the 'Beyond the 881' topic Heather???????

It was a Titian shape Ev - so though it was made in the Crown Lynn years - it wasnt a crown lynn shape..

I dont know where we start and where we stop but I do have records of numbers after 881 that were Crown Lynn creations.

Cam's vase belongs in Titian.

Re: Titian ware vase ... 2087

Saw one of these today and it reminded me of this thread.
It does have the number 2087 on the base, plus the old Titian as in the Titian Studio days. This strongly suggests that this is a Titian shape, but the Crown Lynn records don't state this as is the case with other shapes. The shape can't go into the Titian Gallery with the Crown Lynn four digit number that Crown Lynn used when they made it and this thread should really be in the Crown Lynn with four digits topic.
I hope this makes sense, as it was hard to put into words .....
