2 possible NZ pottery & Christine Boswijk and Stephen Robertson
A couple of new finds, but who made them, and are they even NZ Pottery?
A couple of red clay mugs, rather funky
with this mark, either SR or STR
Another mug, with distinctive style and handle
It has a distinctive mark too, which I feel I should know
Lastly, a lovely cup and saucer, in a speckled finish, with 2 different marks, but I'm sure they are a pair
The cup
and the saucer - looks a little like a wolf or something

Is the second mug Christine Boswijk maybe?
I was hunting down some info on Christine Boswijk, and on her home page is the same symbol, so I am assuming it is her mark? http://www.christineboswijkworkshop.co.nz/
I also asked on Tim's page if anyone knew, but nothing so far.

Re: 2 possible NZ pottery & Christine Boswijk and Stephen Robertson
I would say that the mark is definitely Christine's and that perforated handle is extremely familiar but I can't see another when I search her images on Google.

I emailed Christine, and she confirmed the mark with this - 'The mark seen on my home page is the mark on most of my work- on sculpture it is in lead and as a stamp on my more functional pieces.' Lucky me, she invited me to go and see her some time

Awesome!!! Terrific!!!! Fantastic !!!!
Stephen Robertson
The top two photos in this topic are mugs by Stephen Robertson and his mark. I saw them when this topic popped up in a google search for something entirely different and recognised them from my visit to South Street Gallery, and from their website:
http://www.nelsonpottery.co.nz/stephen-robertson.html
His work is stunning but I do not have any yet.
The mark can go in the gallery under Stephen's name now.
