Is this beautiful marbled bowl New Zealand Pottery?

New member Denis Friar has sent these photos to the site wanting to find out if anyone knows anything about this fabulous unmarked bowl which is 380mm wide?

It is a very distinctive type of agate ware and reminds me strongly of a particular high quality sort done by Minton and Co. (England) in the 19th century.
