The Housing Developement where Crown Lynn once was ...
Is naming some streets after Crown Lynn designers and the ranges they created ....
Mark Cleverley would be my first pick. Who else? Perhaps there will be a Frank Carpay Place, or a Shufflebotham Circle? Hopefully our dear Dan Steenstra will be there somewhere.

The development is bordered by Crown Lynn Place and Rankin Ave which comes off Clark Street. Rankin Ave also has Ambrico Place running off it too. Such cool names that will be there for a very long time.
I'm looking forward to the choices made, but not looking forward to the hideous high rises that will follow.
Rumour had it that there was to be an archaeological dig before the buildings were started, but that seems to have been put aside. Very disappointed as I was keen to take part.

I hope that there is some consultation between the developers and say Portage museum on this matter of street naming. It would be a pity if they got it wrong.
Although the names Rancich, Silva, and Gardner are not necessarily associated with this site, they may be more appropriate than other "luminaries" whoever they might be.
I hope to see Marcus tomorrow. I'll see what he knows about digs.

You don't have to check with Marcus Jeremy as it's not going ahead.
