The Crown Lynn Flora and Fauna Tea Pot Stand
The artwork for this was by David Jenkin and the larger brown and gold ones hand carved by Tam Mitchell. The larger ones have alot more detail and other design work.
Just at the moment I cant find a date for manufacture.
This plaque measures 14cmx14cm

Re: The Crown Lynn Flora and Fauna Tea Pot Stand
It took a while to find - but I noted this from a newspaper article from the Waitakere Library...
Flora and fauna plaques were made in 1969 to celebrate the 25th birthday of Crown Lynn.
A large one was presented to the Mayor Mr J.R. McCorquindale and smaller ones were given to councilors.
I'm sure there was a photo of this presentation.

The Portage Ceramic Trust shows this to be the 8021 which is an Embossed Trivet first made 15.2.72 and this sounds correct to me. Will add it when I get time.... not sure when I will get time for a few days!
