Heritage 1800 Deco 543 was made in 1981 and is the rim shaped ware that has the 3056 cup 3050 saucer and 4043 side plate etc.
Heritage d293 was made in 1989 and is the rim shaped ware and has the same cup, saucer and side plate as the 1800 pattern ...?
There is also Heritage d693 in the Database, but no info that I can quickly find.
So my question is, "What is going on with these patterns that look the same and have different numbers?"

I don't even think that the Heritage in the Gallery is correct ????? Help !!!!

There is Heritage pattern on a door knob unsure what deco number that is - Portage site has that one. http://www.nzmuseums.co.nz/account/3384/object/490770/Collection_of_handles_-_Heritage_pattern
deco 293 - looks legit as per these images - the Heritage 1800 Deco 543 - umm as to the difference...  I can't see what it is?
Unless the backstamp with 1800 is deco 543 and the other is as per this backstamp? Maybe one was for something specific like a event or a particular store?

Ev-- 1981 Price list - page 7 (i don't have it - you might?)
Just confirms what we know, but will the price list show the shapes ( or is that what you were looking at ?)

Yes it was what I was looking at in the 1981 Price List -
Heritage 1800 d543
3056 Cup
4050 Saucer etc etc

In looking further I found Heritage d293 in 1986 with the same shape numbers.
This looks like the same colour, same shapes, but with a different number.
The Heritage 1800 has the kettle on the backstamp. The d293 doesn't.
Have to find further examples now. Just another reason to scour the opshops Smile

I have an entire set of this in its original box. If you need any pictures or information, let me know

Hi makut, does the box have the number for the pattern? Also does it have the shape numbers for the pieces?

I'm pretty certain it only says Heritage, no numbering. I'll double check though, its stacked in a garage.

I double checked. Absolutely no markings on the box although there is a white sticker the text has completely faded off. Maybe there used to be something on there.
