Pukeko

I have seen the frog transfer on the forum before but not so sure about the pukeko? It looks a bit like a pukeko?? These were found together. Were they mixed animal sets?

Hi Mike Smile
Val uses the Pukeko as her avatar but it's a lot more vibrant.

Hello from the pukeko! Yes I have a pukeko mug and also a desert bowl. They look 1980s to me but just a guess. Mine are much brighter. Mike I wonder if yours has been thru a dishwasher too often. Incidentally I don't remember ever seeing that frog for all my trawling thru op shops.

I haven't come across any records for these yet and the similar pattern placement makes me wonder if they are part of a set.

After posting the pukeko yesterday I remembered Val had the pukeko as her avatar. Yep badly dishwasher-ed but I had to buy them. The ring of small frogs and pukekos around the edges indicate they were at least part of the same series I guess.

Just noticed that the Pukeko pattern wasn't in the Gallery, so I will add Val's photo and hope that the pattern name turns up one day Smile
