These two coupes in the auction are 19cm, near enough 8 inches, and dated 1970.
[4618, 8 inch coupe, commenced production 16.5.69.]
I first thought that they were 4618 then I saw a separate description for the rolled edge one. We don't have either 4616 or 4618 in the gallery.

I'll ask if we can use their photo. Asked and answered: I'll pop them here tomorrow.

I'm sure I have one of those, but it could be the 4611 too couldn't it?
I need to check out the drawings when I get to it.
This flatware all gives me grief, but luckily we have Jeremy who is a whizz at these sorts of things to help out Very Happy

Good grief! It could be any of them couldn't it. I checked the 770 too, just to relate to 4611.

Those descriptions are tricky.

Coupe is sometimes used to refer to the shape in general, and sometimes more specifically pudding bowls OR cereal bowls. I grew up with coupe as pudding bowl but I have seen discussion here lately relating it to cereal bowls.

By date I'd prefer 4616 to 4611 because it is closer to the date on the bowls.
4618 is even closer but does not mention roll edge.

If we compare with nearby saucers 4615 has a footring so maybe I'd expect 4616 to have a footring, and 4619 has the integral footring (hollow base) like the ones for sale.

Ideally, if we had three different bowls we could probably match them to numbers.
