Hi there Bindi and welcome to the site
I'm sorry but I don't know who made this piece, but I hope someone else does.

Re: Does anyone know the maker of this please?
Hi Bindi.
I'm sticking my neck out a wee bit here, as the photos are just that bit too small to get a clear idea of what I'm looking at, but I would venture that this is a recent 'ikebana' vessel from east Asia, either China or Japan. It has a shape resembling Japanese porcelain ones that were imported into NZ in the 1950s in large numbers, and for a long time were mistakenly thought by collectors who should have known better to be Temuka. However, this one is either high-fired earthen ware or stoneware which has me leaning towards Japan within the last decade or so.
Hope this helps.
