Mayon Ceramics Toilet/Mug
Crown Lynn was involved in a joint venture in the Philippines ca. 1972 - 1982. 'Crown Lynn - A New Zealand Icon' has some detailed info about this period. This piece was made for Ross Brewin who worked at Crown Lynn from 1947 to 1989 and was Chief Engineer when the company closed:
It has this backstamp:
Stickers on the base say "Crown Lynn Potteries Auck. Joint venture with Mayon Ceramics, Manila 1974" and "My visit there in 1976"
