Hi there, other potteries like Pates Pottery in Australia also used a running glaze like the one that Ambrico used in these colourings.

For example here is a Mingay Ware swan ..

I'm not even sure that it is Australian and I did a quick Google search and nothing similar showed up, but as it's the glaze that would make one consider it to be of New Zealand origin, I just wanted to point out other possibilities.
