Similar to Maryr's tea jar in the gallery but no lettering. Incredibly bright glaze!

That is beautiful Mike. I still haven't managed to find out which of these orange glazes are uranium and which are lead - and I understand that the temperature in the kiln has a lot to do with how shiny they turn out. Can any of you potters out there help me with these questions?

Sharon told me that the Uranium glaze was a dull matt orange and when they were unable to get any more they used Lead to replace it and it turned out to be a bright shiny orange.  Her canister set all had the Lead glaze on them.

So lead on the right and uranium on the left. Both feel handpotted and the orange flat glazed small pot is terracotta and twice the weight. Both small just a bit bigger than mustard pot size.
