Welcome to the Forum s_f_l
I've never seen that pattern before and really love it.
Can you identify the flowers?
Can I use your pic to put into the Tableware Patterns Gallery please?
Cheers Ev

I reckon the flower is a type of anenome. Sharon thinks it might be a passion flower but the leaf shape is the same as an anenome I saw yesterday.

lol when i actually look at it i think it is a poppy.
It is only when it has been put away for a while i forget and start reefing off passionflowers and clematis.

This pattern from the Portage site has the name Marguerite d752 so perhaps these flowers are a type of daisy?

A shame that the flowers are not on the warm background like above ...;..

Well this isn't Marguerite d752 as that has a grey wash band.
However it is the same flower and they call the flower a Peony Rose
