Is this the 8016 Qantas 747 divided dish?
I can't find any measurements.
Google won't help me with those numbers on the base of the dish either !1

Ev I would be surprised if this is not the Qantas divided dish.
It is Qantas.
It is a divided dish.
It is Crown Lynn....

I just need some confirmation as there is also an 8017 Qantas Divided Dish for use in 707's. It will be one of those, but maybe I will never find the answer, perhaps it's blowing in the wind, somewhere over the rainbow

Re: Is this the 8016 Qantas 747 divided dish?
But is the Kangaroo "flying" the right way?
I remember when Qantas changed their seating and added an extra seat, from 9 across to 10 across as I recall, CL received a large rush order for dishes as the size and number of ovens in the galleries stayed the same. This meant this dishes needed to be smaller to fit enough additional ones in the ovens for the increase in passengers.
It was also a huge logistical problem as there were new and old configurations flying at the same time so new and old dishes were needed at all the replenishment places around the world.
As the first new dishes came thru production representatives from Qantas were shown around the factory to see the new product and pose for photo ops. One of them pointed out the Kangaroo was "flying" the wrong way. I can't remember now whether we had it "flying" forward or backwards but it was wrong.

A great story Dale and I feel that I've heard it somewhere before too.
Google shows pics of the Kangaroo going both ways, so I'm at a loss now
