These were first made in the early 1960's and I have one that was left by the previous owners of the last house where we lived and it was painted with bright green paint, which I tried to remove to no avail not realising that is how it would have been decorated by Salisburys.

The Royal Oak flower pots were sold in 3 sizes.  Numbers  529/4  529/5  529/6.
Many 529/6 flower pots had their own wrought iron stand, item number 1200.

The price list below has the number 1200 item. A  fern stand with the large flora pottery jardiniere. It also has a factory address 714 Mt Albert Rd,this closed in 1956.

Production of the pottery pots began in the early 1950's

Below a 529/6 flower pot decorated in the late 1960's.
