New Peter Lowrie blog post
My latest - and still a work in progress. But I have put down what I know so far about the Peter Lowrie/Daniel Steenstra workshop which produced so much lovely kitchenware in the 1980s. Comments happily accepted!

Re: New Peter Lowrie blog post
Val I think that ewer photo is one of mine from the "Beach Artware some thoughts" post ages ago. There is much in that post that now makes greater sense and can be placed accordingly it seems...

Re: New Peter Lowrie blog post
This is a great blog post Val.
It all makes so much sense when you look at it as one potteries work.
I need a Snywerk piece !!!!!
Yes, the wine jug is from mike67 not me
I would call this work Studio Pottery, because it is a small scale production pottery and all made by hand. I believe that Beach should also be in the Studio Pottery category, as it was mainly hand thrown by skilled potters, with some slip casting.
A big job to shift them though.
Also I hope you can choose a P mark or two, to put into the Marks Gallery

And thank you Mike, I hope you don't mind that I have snaffled your pic. I had a big hunt through NZ Pottery and couldn't find the pic for the life of me.

Re: New Peter Lowrie blog post
Of course not...fantastic blog....great research and reading. I have quite a bit of that iridescent glazed work with the gold defining strip tucked away. I am going to uncover it and try and see how it fits in with the other golds now that you have pointed out there is a difference.

I will be interested to see what you come up with Mike. I am sorting through mine too. I still have a handful that I am not sure about.
