This bowl has a wonderful blue glaze on the inside, the outside is unglazed:

There is also a mark, which to me looks like AC:

Does anybody know who it is by?

Hi again Hannele.

I have just noticed your queries about potter's marks. If you follow the link below you will find a huge treasure trove of named marks which has been built up over the years by members of this site. It is in alphabetic order so most marks can be identified quite quickly. Sometimes a member will identify a mark off the top of their head, but a search through the gallery is often the best way.
Take care
Val

Thank you for your reaction. Yes, I know about the gallery and I am perusing it, but I tend to get lost there, even with this mark, which seems to consist of initials. I am working on it, though.

That's a new one to me Hannele, what part of the country are you finding these treasures?

Just some OP shops and a second hand shop right here in Christchurch, all within the last couple of months. This was in an OP shop, about a month ago. I am surprised myself, I do not know a thing about pottery and just buy what I love.
