Wine jug with 6 sips, just glorious. Only the jug is marked and, alas, not very clearly:

I need to research that potter. The mark on the jug does nor resemble the one in the gallery (which is the same as on NZ Potters Inc). Isn't this set wonderful?

I do the best that I can darls and damned if I can't find any similar work, though I know I've seen heaps, so perhaps I'm barking up the wrong pottery tree ...?

Sure looks like Mike's work, and the mark looks like his but partly obscured.

Yes, it totally looks like his work as I have seen it on this site. The glaze and the colours are really similar. I probably need to check the mark again, just to make sure myself.

In 2 different OP shops, on 3 consecutive days, I found 4 cups. This is the 3024, right?

Yes they are shape 3024 cups, there are quite a few different patterns on Apollo plates, its a great dinner set to mix and match. Plain cups are a great start!

Design Line cups and saucers as well as bowls, in the same colour way. They must have been meant to be used together with Cloister ceramics:

The 1101 is Crown Lynn as it as four digits and was made after the takeover.

The odd handle is a 3041

Design Line has one more line than Cloister, so it's not a match in that regard.
There are Design Line matching cups, saucers, bowls, sides, dinners etc etc

3041? Great, I will put that in my inventory document.

Yes, I realise Design Line and Cloister are different designs, but I love how the colour ways and the bands are the same, so that you can mix and match, with people being none the wiser, unless they turn the plates over to check the names.

I have not come across the 3041 cups in that glaze. Unless the photo lighting is showing it different to real life. If that makes sense.

Nearest would be cork glaze on the pattern sundowner. But it's not that.

Is it like the pioneer glaze or rusticana glaze? I can't tell . Janice

The colour in the photographs is pretty close to the real one. So quite a dark brown, speckled glaze, not the same all over the cup. Darker at the top and one of the cups has an irregularity, a spot in a different colour, reminiscent of Temuka Riverstone, but with a glossy glaze.
