correction of Fulford vase mark
These pots are definitely the work of David Fulford made in the early 1970's at Te Mata Potteries
Havelock North as your headings say.He is the youngest son of Huelin V Fulford who founded Te Mata potteries on his return from world war 1 in 1919. Huelins Father and grandfather both Johns came to Napier in 1875 to establish a brickworks for the Dolbel brothers.John Jnr moved to Havelock North {as it is known now} in 1888 to establish a Brickworks and pottery. The John's were brick makers in
France and Jersey before coming to N.Z. making the family one of the oldest potters in N.Z.
David is still alive living in Australia.Hope this sets things right for you and history.
