Is this a Clay Craft/ Royal Oak mug?
I can't tell by the gallery photo if this handle is a match for Clay Craft?
The body looks different to other Clay Craft and there is no markings (of course).
It has a Royal Oak look to it, but there is no red in the gallery.
Does anybody have thoughts or knowledge about this piece.
It is 10.5cm high

Re: Is this a Clay Craft/ Royal Oak mug?
It is not the Kilncraft mug with similar handle.
I have not seen one like this before but I'm pretty sure it will turn out to be Royal Oak.
I base that opinion on the form of the base including the splash of glaze, and on the frothy top glaze.
I love these rare ones. If I had not seen other oddities from Royal Oak I would be less inclined to commit here.
We need an opinion from oakpot here.
Val's thoughts would be good too.

Re: Is this a Clay Craft/ Royal Oak mug?
This mug is unfamiliar to me and is not a Royal Oak item.
It has been cast by a craft potter possibly in low numbers, as the red colour in a glaze is expensive to produce.
